Club, youth and academy
Competition climbing's youth pathway is dense and international: Europe Youth Series stops at Soure (18-19 April), Graz (9-10 May), Zakopane (13 June), Dornbirn (4-5 July), St. Polten (1 August), Imst (4-6 September) and Leipzig (3 October) 2026, Europe Youth Championship Sukoro (11-14 June), Asia Youth Series Quannan (13-16 August) and Al-Bahah (15-17 October), Asia Youth Championship Guiyang (21-25 August), and the World Climbing Youth Championship in Arco 18-25 July 2026. Ice climbing runs youth World Championships in late January and February and formal training camps at Champagny-en-Vanoise 27-28 August 2026 and Brno 20-25 October 2026 before the winter season. For mountaineering there is no tryout model; skills progression runs through alpine clubs.
Busiest months
January, February, April, May, June, July, October

Results data · Split. Competition climbing and ice climbing publish results in structured form and freely reachable - the UIAA runs a public live-results service and World Climbing publishes a full event calendar with schedules and info sheets. Mountaineering is not published centrally: ascents are recorded by expedition operators, national permit authorities and third-party trackers rather than any federation results feed, and no central UIAA ascent registry is offered.
