One date is published two different ways
Both published versions are shown with the page each came from. The paper does not pick between them — the governing body settles it.

Not Yet Confirmed
4 parts of the Rowing (Men's) year are still unsourced
These are gaps, not blanks. Each names what is missing and who would confirm it. Nothing is estimated to fill the shape of the table above.
- Elite calendar (2027)
- The 2027 World Rowing Cup and World Championships hosts and dates; the long-term PDF's multi-year column layout is ambiguous and should not be quoted as dated fact — World Rowing would confirm. World Rowing regatta list · World Rowing long-term calendar
- High school season
- USRowing's youth and scholastic national championship dates and the Scholastic Rowing Association of America calendar (usrowing.org was not fetched in this session) — USRowing and SRAA would confirm.
- College season
- NCAA and IRA first-practice date rules and the fall-season head-race schedule — the IRA and USRowing would confirm. IRA events
- Club, youth and academy
- US club and junior tryout and summer-camp windows — USRowing would confirm. Americas planning calendar
Around The Season
- High school
- Not an NFHS sport; rowing and crew do not appear on the NFHS list of sanctioned activities and sports. Where high schools row, they compete through club and scholastic regattas run outside the NFHS structure. NFHS Activities & Sports
- College
- Men's rowing is not an NCAA championship sport; the NCAA future-dates schedule lists only women's rowing. The men's national championship is run by the Intercollegiate Rowing Association. Bids are automatic-qualifier or at-large, announced by the IRA Stewards and Commissioner in mid-May. Washington won the 2026 title, its 22nd. IRA
- Olympic and major games
- On the LA28 Olympic programme twice over, as Rowing and as Rowing Coastal Beach Sprints, with Para Rowing on the LA28 Paralympic programme. Also a Youth Olympic Games sport at Dakar 2026 and a FISU World University Games sport, plus Pan Am Youth Games and Central American & Caribbean Games. Not on the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games programme. No World Rowing Championships are held in the Olympic year 2028; the Los Angeles Olympic regatta falls inside the Games window of 14-30 July 2028, with the Paralympics 15-27 August 2028. LA28 Games Plan
- Club, youth and academy
- Autumn is head racing and training, spring is side-by-side racing, summer is national-team selection and international regattas, and winter is indoor racing and erg championships, with indoor world championships in February and coastal and beach sprints in October and November. Development activity is scheduled explicitly by World Rowing's continental bodies, including Americas coastal-rowing development camps in Trinidad and Tobago in September and Argentina in October, a Para rowing stakeholder webinar in April and a Level 2 classic coaching course in December.
- Busiest months
- May, June, July, August
Results data · Published but human-readable only. World Rowing publishes an official events calendar and multi-year planning calendars as web pages and PDFs, and the IRA publishes fields, schedules and livestreams, but the PDFs are layout-heavy and multi-year entries are frequently to be confirmed, so forward calendars need manual verification.
