- High school
- Not an NFHS sport. High school ultimate is run by USA Ultimate through sanctioned state championships, mostly in spring: the 2026 state championship series ran from 25 April (Indiana, Georgia) through mid-to-late May (California and Texas 16-17 May, New York 23-24 May), with some states holding a mixed-division event in autumn. Historically the high school season is described as April to June plus September to November. USA Ultimate school-based events
- College
- Not an NCAA sport; college ultimate is run by USA Ultimate as a collegiate-club structure, with the postseason beginning mid-April and D-III championships 16-18 May and D-I championships 22-25 May 2026. USA Ultimate college schedule
- Olympic and major games
- Not on the LA28 Olympic or Paralympic programme. WFDF is IOC-recognised and ultimate is a World Games sport, next in Karlsruhe, Germany in 2029. LA28 games plan
- Club, youth and academy
- Youth club season runs roughly April to November, culminating in the Youth Club Championships 1-3 August 2026 in Aurora, CO. Youth Club Warm-Ups are held in June and July. Team-formation and admin deadlines are published: new-team applications 14 January to 2 March 2026, D-I deposits 23 March, remaining deposits 1 May. Local practice calendars follow: one large city programme starts Youth Club Championships practices the week of 18 May, runs a high school spring league March to early May and a fall youth programme September to November. Beach Championships open the championship year on 9-10 May 2026 in Virginia Beach.
